Nugenix Reviews - What Is It?

WARNING: DO NOT BUY Nugenix Until You Read This Review!
Is it a Scam? Does It Really Work? Check Ingredients, Side Effects and More! Michael Young

Nugenix was created by Boston-based nutritional developers, according to the product's official website. There is no other information about the manufacturer. Nothing is mentioned about the ingredients of the supplement, it is only said that they are eight in number. There is not even a word about possible adverse effects or precautions for usage. So, the website leaves much to be desired. It can be only used for ordering the product online without even getting basic information about it.

The manufacturers of Nugenix produce two products - Testosterone Booster and Prostate Health Support. We will stop on the first one. The manufacturer claims that the key ingredients of the supplement have been lab tested and are designed for men who want to stay active at work, in the gym and in bed. Nugenix helps to raise testosterone levels, and thus, sex drive and strength.

Ingredients of Nugenix - Does It Really Work? Is It a Scam?

Nugenix was formulated with a key natural ingredient known as Testofen which aims to help increase the levels of "free" testosterone as well as training performance. This ingredient is extracted from the fenugreek plant. According to the study in Irvine, California, Testofen is linked with positive results. The supplement also includes L-Citrulline Malate, Zinc, Tribulus, Vitamins B6 and B12 which are meant to contribute to the overall user's health, sexual and physical performance.

Nugenix

The manufacturers of Nugenix claim that these ingredients are all natural but let's check it out on our own. One big human study showed that men really felt better after taking the product for six weeks but the study didn't prove any rise of testosterone levels. Another study on rats cannot be linked with people.

L-Citrulline malate is another ingredient of Nugenix. This is an amino acid that is naturally produced by our bodies. It is sometimes called "L-Citrulline" and used in male sex supplements due to its ability to make a male body produce gas known as nitric oxide. The latter makes our blood vessels expand. This process is called vasodilatation. The matter is that rise of nitric oxide can expand blood vessels leading to good erections. The only problem with raising nitric oxide levels remains - this kind of gas dissipates very quickly, so the effect will be short.

Tribulus terrestris is the next ingredient of Nugenix. Many websites say that it is a testosterone booster, but there is no proof. Rat studies don't make the picture clear because they should incorporate people.

The product also contains Zinc. There was some evidence that deficiency of zinc might lead to reduced testosterone levels. But who knows whether the user is deficient in zinc? The following foods contain zinc: shellfish, meat, fortified breakfast cereals, nuts and seeds. The RDA for zinc for men is 11 mg per day. In my opinion, people who have good nutrition are not lacking in zinc.

Vitamin B6 is also contained in Nugenix, but it can be found in many foods as well. The supplement gives the user 100% of daily value of B6 but what if a person doesn't feel any deficiency on this vitamin? Do they need to take it in pills? The same concerns Vitamin B12. The only groups of people who may be deficient in this vitamin include older adults, vegetarians and those suffering from diabetes. By the way, the human organism tends to store vitamin B12 in the body! It takes a long time to get rid of it. Some people think that B12 creates more energy but it is misconception.

Customer Reviews - Does It Have Any Side Effects?

The manufacturer doesn't mention any adverse effects of Nugenix on its website. Personally I haven't heard of severe side effects but still I think it's better to avoid this supplement if you have any medical issues. Nugenix seems to be safe only if used by healthy people. If we take a look at the main ingredients of the supplement, we'll find some potential issues for you to consider.

Tribulus has been studied in a rat research which found out that it might reduce the levels of blood sugar. However, lab rats that were castrated and fed with 5 mg / kg of tribulus per day demonstrated growth of the prostate. We can equal this amount to men - 409 mg. Nugenix could contain such an amount of tribulus. You never know what will happen to your prostate.

Another product's ingredient, Citrulline, might lower blood pressure while Fenugreek (Testofen) has an ability to reduce blood sugar levels. It can be a problem for diabetics taking medications for this purpose. Fenugreek also possesses a blood thinning ability and an ability to interact with blood thinning drugs. So, consult your doctor before using Nugenix, otherwise you may suffer from unknown medical issues.

"Did not come up to expectations, I thought it would do something. It did nothing. It was a failure as far as I'm concerned"

"Don't buy anything from Nugenix! They will begin to charge your credit card and not stop. You have to involve your credit card company and struggle to get them to stop"

"After taking the product for about 2 1/2 weeks my blood pressure increased from 130/75 to 145/85. I did feel (or thought I felt) an increased energy level but not worth the PB issue"

Where To Buy Nugenix?

Nugenix is available on Walmart, Amazon, GNC at a price $70 per bottle.

My Final Summary

Personally I didn't try Nugenix and I don't know how you will feel after taking it. But taking into account the results of the research I doubt that Nugenix can raise testosterone levels. Besides, the main ingredients of the product can be found in other supplements for men. Nugenix really contains more Testofen than other products of the kind. In any way, I don't think that taking this supplement for several weeks will bring you any visible effects. I don't trust the manufacturers either.

The Nugenix website doesn't offer reviewed proof that Nugenix raises testosterone levels. I would recommend you to check your testosterone levels before you start the product. Then you will test them again in a month and see whether any changes take place. Measuring testosterone is the only way to learn whether Nugenix is really working. So, I would not recommend you taking this supplement because there are many other more reputable products on the market.

Affordable Alternative

Many doctors consider that the problem can be well solved by another product known as Testogen. I completely agree with them because I study many products of the kind! I recommend you reading my review about Testogen. You'll be pleasantly surprised.
