Is it a Scam? Does It Really Work? Check Ingredients, Side Effects and More!
Ultima Replenisher is an electrolyte drink that was specially formulated for professional athletes, but can be used by adults and even children. It is based in a big number of vitamins and minerals, however, is often associated with complaints that there is too much Vitamin C which can cause fatigue and a blah feeling. Ultima Replenisher Drinks are available in the powder forms with different flavors including grape, orange, lemonade, red raspberry, cranberry, and tart cherry. This sort of a drink is said to be a natural alternative to modern electrolyte drinks and sugary sports.
Some Ultima Health Products contain 50mg of cranberry fruit extract per serving. This plant ingredient possesses antioxidant properties. The product contains zero sugar, no artificial flavors, colors, or sweeteners. This provides fast electrolyte absorption without stomach upset. There are also essential electrolytes, vitamin enhancers, water-soluble vitamins, and antioxidants. It is GMO, caffeine, MSG, and gluten free. One bottle of the powder contains 90 servings. It is necessary to mix each serving with 8-12oz of water. The company behind the product is called Ultima Health. Its official website is not very informative, as it contains a very description of each of the products. There is also a FAQ section and a few positive reviews from quasi users.
Ingredients of Ultima Replenisher - Does It Really Work? Is It a Scam?
This electrolyte drink offers optimal hydration to the human body due to the macro and micro-essential electrolytes contained in it. Electrolytes are combined with carbohydrates which are important for better absorption of the product. Without carbohydrates, electrolytes are badly absorbed. In general, electrolytes are minerals contained in foods, such as fruit and vegetables. These include magnesium, calcium, potassium, chloride, and sodium, as well as zinc, selenium, and phosphorus. These minerals are used by the body systems for different functions including oxygen utilization and control of blood flow.
According to the official website of the company, electrolytes contain zero sugar, no artificial ingredients and no Gluten. The ingredients in the Red Raspberry flavor include Vitamin C (from cili fruit extract and calcium ascorbate): 100 mg (167%); Phosphorus (as potassium phosphate): 15 mg (2%); Calcium (as calcium ascorbate and calcium citrate): 25 mg (3%); Magnesium (as magnesium aspartate and magnesium citrate): 8 mg (2%); Selenium (as selenium amino acid chelate): 1.25 mcg (2%); Zinc (as zinc citrate): 1 mg (7%); Manganese (as manganese citrate): 0.2 mg (10%); Copper (as copper citrate): 0.2 mg (10%); Chromium (as chromium dinicotinate glycinate): 5 mcg (4%); Chloride (as sodium chloride): 7.5 mg (1%); Molybdenum (as sodium molybdate): 3.5 mcg (5%); Sodium (as sodium chloride): 5 mg (1%); Stevia Leaf Extract 60 mg; Potassium (as potassium aspartate and potassium phosphate): 75 mg (2%); Cranberry fruit extract 50 mg.
Other ingredients include stevia leaf extract, Non-GMO maltodextrin, natural flavors, silica, malic acid, citric acid, beet color and luo han guo fruit extract. Even though the manufacturer claims that the product contains no artificial ingredients, it is not true. Most of those minerals are artificially created in laboratory conditions. Let us have a closer look at some of the ingredients in Ultima Replenisher to understand whether this product is worth trying.
Potassium is important for proper hydration of the human body but they offer 2 1/2 times more than the daily dosage which can be harmful for health. Magnesium is used in two absorbable forms which can take part in protein formation. Chloride is a vital electrolyte needed for the overall fluid balance of the body. Calcium is necessary for the bones, while Selenium helps to protect human cells from free-radicals. Phosphorus is one of the most abundant minerals in the human body as it is good for the teeth, bones and muscles. Zinc is a rather costly electrolyte that is critical for body function and cell health. Sodium is important for the proper fluid balance of the body. It is also used as a preservative. It should be mentioned that large amounts of this element can be harmful for the human health, especially when we consume Sodium from foods every day.
There is much concern about maltodextrin contained in Ultima Replenisher, as well as a high amount of vitamin C and some other ingredients. This results in a number of side effects which will be discussed in the next part of this review.
Customer Reviews - Does It Have Any Side Effects?
As a matter of fact, the company behind Ultima Replenisher does not list any possible side effects and adverse reactions associated with the product. However, they do occur due to the artificial ingredients contained in the supplement. There are only a few warnings listed on the official website. For example, it is recommended to protect the product from light, heat, and moisture. Do not consume it if the seal is broken. In reality, there are dozens of different concerns about Ultima Replenisher, including cramping, dehydration, constipation, stomach ulcers, and tiredness.
Many users report feeling light-headed and nauseous after consuming the product. One woman wrote that her hands were swollen. It should be used with caution by people with low blood pressure, as it may lower it even more. Some people report excessive sweating when using Ultima Replenisher. Let us have a look at some of those users' reviews.
"My family has used Ultima Replenisher for a few years, but the new formula contains too much potassium, sodium, and magnesium. All of us have got severe diarrhea! It took us several days to figure out what the cause was. Disappointing!"
"Ultima Replenisher contains Maltodexterin. This filler product increases my blood glucose levels too much. The product has a yucky taste. The orange taste is very artificial. The grape flavor is so stellar. I am sending it back."
"Earlier I was a big fan of UltimaReplenishers and have used some of them for a few years. The new formula with an orange flavor actually tastes bad and contains much more chemicals than before. I cannot recommend this product any more."
Where To Buy Ultima Replenisher?
You can buy the product from the official website or from some retail stores online. The price may differ from store to store (Walmart or GNC). Amazon offers Ultima Replenisher (Orange flavour, 90-Serving Canister, 13.97 Oz) for $40.
My Final Summary
Ultima Replenisher cannot be recommended to usage due to the number of cons it has. The first one is a high risk of experiencing side effects and adverse reactions which are usually associated with too high dosages of vitamins. These electrolytes are too expensive for the product of this kind. What I like about the product is that it is available on many sources and is easy to buy. However, I don't this that it can really take proper care of your health.
I study a lot of different supplement designed for boosting endurance, physical performance and muscle growth. And I can say that there is one worthy alternative on the market. It is called CrazyBulk Winsol (Winidrol). It is one of the best supplements for body builders available in present day market. This supplement claims to build lean muscle in a short period of time and without any side effects which usually occur when using similar products. The best part about it is that you don't have to take it too excessively but still you will be able to achieve the desired body shape with better stamina faster. Winsol also improves vascularity and blood circulation, provides a lot of energy and decreases the recovery time after a workout. I recommend reading my review about Winsol. You will not regret!
